Two Ways to Work Together
Edited for your own use. You send your draft, I edit it, and I send it back to you. You publish it wherever you like, under your own name or your brand’s.
Edited and published on this blog. A piece that fits the blog is edited and posted here on Squeaks by PB. The author is named, with a link to their website.
When you message me, just say which one you have in mind.
What’s Included
Proofreading and structural editing. Proofreading fixes spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Structural editing looks at the bigger picture: the order of your ideas, your headings, and how the piece flows, so readers can follow your point from start to finish.
Tone, clarity, and consistency fixes. Making sure the piece sounds like you all the way through, says what you mean in plain words, and uses the same style from start to end, including spelling, names, and formatting.
Content planning and style refinement. Help with deciding what to publish and how it should read, such as topic ideas, a simple plan for what to post and when, and a style you can reuse across your pieces.
How It Works
Send your draft, a few lines on what it is for, whether it is for your own use or this blog, and your deadline. I reply within a week with next steps, a rough timeline, and the level of editing that fits, from a light proofread to a bigger restructure. You get the edited draft back, and we go over anything you want to adjust.
