Shopping at SM City Delgado is not really my thing but I found this almost pocket-sized journal/planner and thought of getting one for myself. It was beyond my budget, but it really looked so nice.
So anyway, I took some time selecting the best one and then went to the counter. The thing is, the item that I have chosen has no price tag.
There was NO PRICE TAG.
The cashier called the salesboy to find a similar one with a price tag.
He found one, gave it to the cashier and left on the shelf the one that I have picked .
The cashier just took it without saying anything to me but I immediately told her that it was not the item that I want.
She said, “But it is not for purchase if there is no price tag.”
I insisted and told her that the one left on the shelf was the one I want.
Her assistant (or whatever you call it) attempted to scratch off the price tag from the other item but to no avail. So they have no choice and finally let me buy what I really want.
I was in a hurry, a bit pissed off and it was only later that I could have asked them this:
“Well since this was no price tag, then can I have it for free?”
In the first place, why are there items on the shelf without PRICE TAGS?
That’s all for now. I am still a bit confused. So many questions crashing in my head and I have some more important work to do.
