Blogs are now the mainstream media.

What is blogging?

You can have a role flexibility when you blog. You become a writer, a journalist or an advertiser.

As a writer, you write what is in your mind. You write what you think that can be useful to others. You provide information for them.

As a journalist, you report what you have seen or hear. You can be a paparazzi - taking images or videos and posting them without permission from the person involved.

As an advertiser, you promote your products and services.

What is corporate blogging?

Corporate blogging is business blogging. CEOs and employees are the one who are involved in this type of blogging. They blog about their point of views and their company. But one thing that you should look out when you are into corporate blogging is to make sure that you follow the rules or else you will get fired.

Each and every blogger is the best blogger in his or her own field of expertise. They can be an expert in link building, seo, etc. For me, I think I am the best blogger in my place. Why? Because I am the only one who knows how to make money online. If there are anyone else, just let me know. I know that as a blogger, I can catch bigger and better opportunities.

My first blogs were on Blogspot, they got disabled because I placed every advertising widget that I could find. I never knew anything about making money online at that time. I was just making my online portfolio. I tried looking for jobs at Bestjobs.ph but the offers were not that good.

That was when I tried blogging with Wordpress and from then on, my life has changed. I have been writing sponsored posts for various blog advertising websites. I got job offers from clients worldwide, however, I did not have a permanent workplace so I declined their offers.

And after a few months, I decided to have my own domain. This blog was my first and there will be more to come. I could now Google my brand names (Piyoz, PwengBee, Sheilla May Baes) and were happy with the results. I thought that I have managed in building a good online reputation based from what I have read on the book, Radically Transparent.

Filamer Christian College (FCC), a local college here in Roxas City, Philippines is now teaching under the Cisco CCNA Discovery curriculum. The FCC Computer Studies department is using Cisco’s course catalog in teaching their students. The department has a full access to the catalog.

The students listen well to the teacher because they are able to view the course catalog in their own computers. One topic that is being discussed in the curriculum is Networking for Home and Small Businesses. This is about knowing the parts and functions of the computer and how to set-up, secure, use and maintain a computer network.

Learning with Cisco is an advantage since it helps the students to pay attention of what is being discussed. They wanted to gain more knowledge of the topic. This motivated them not to skip classes and get good grades. The students of FCC discovered a new way to land on better jobs.

Cisco trains the students to be associates, professionals and experts in information technology. Having a Cisco certification can lead them to better and bigger opportunities. Job hunting can be easy if they got a Cisco certification.

Everybody’s problem is money. We do not have enough money to buy what we need and want. What if I will say that money is not the problem but us? Yes, us. When we have some cash in our hands, we always think of what we can spend it on – food, shopping and partying until there’s no more left.

Why can’t we save for something big? As a blogger, it is very easy to make money. I can make $100 in one day for a very simple job. And when I get paid, I shop online.

But I see too it that I would not spend everything all at once. I prefer not to have a credit card so that I cannot be a verified Paypal member. In this way, I cannot spend my earnings no matter how much I try.

GDigg or GooDigg? Or maybe DIGGOOGLE? There were reports from JackBook and Techcrunch that Google is negotiating a budget of $200 million to buy Digg. Again, the Digg value is $200 million.

JackBook said that he still does not even understand why Google would waste their $200 million just for an easy to replicate website like Digg. He can even help Google hire programmers to build the site for only $49 million. $151 is a lot of money to waste.

TechCrunch, who have heard from multiple resources that Google and Digg already signed a letter of intent. TechCrunch also wrote about this Google-Digg negotiation last March.

Digg then immediately reacted to TechCrunch’s post and explained their side.
