If I’m to be asked which location is better, my answer will be the first one. I do miss the homey ambiance. There’s no other location that can give me the same feels. That’s why I almost never visited Cafe Panay when they moved. But anyway, I understand that the reason why they’re moving again is to serve the city much better, to accommodate a larger group of hyper multi-taskers.
From just like a humble abode that’s not easy to find back then to an ancestral ground that’s more accessible to public transport, the 3-year old cafe is moving again next month (September 2017) to an old but new place that’s nearer to the heart of Iloilo City (GF Festive Walk, Megaworld Business Park, Mandurriao).
What’s on their menu has already offered something new and for sure there’s more to come when they finally settle down in the new location. Perhaps this is finally the time for me to drop by once again. Best of luck Cafe Panay, I really missed you and I hope to see you soon!
