Filamer Christian College (FCC), a local college here in Roxas City, Philippines is now teaching under the Cisco CCNA Discovery curriculum. The FCC Computer Studies department is using Cisco’s course catalog in teaching their students. The department has a full access to the catalog.

The students listen well to the teacher because they are able to view the course catalog in their own computers. One topic that is being discussed in the curriculum is Networking for Home and Small Businesses. This is about knowing the parts and functions of the computer and how to set-up, secure, use and maintain a computer network.

Learning with Cisco is an advantage since it helps the students to pay attention of what is being discussed. They wanted to gain more knowledge of the topic. This motivated them not to skip classes and get good grades. The students of FCC discovered a new way to land on better jobs.

Cisco trains the students to be associates, professionals and experts in information technology. Having a Cisco certification can lead them to better and bigger opportunities. Job hunting can be easy if they got a Cisco certification.

Everybody’s problem is money. We do not have enough money to buy what we need and want. What if I will say that money is not the problem but us? Yes, us. When we have some cash in our hands, we always think of what we can spend it on – food, shopping and partying until there’s no more left.

Why can’t we save for something big? As a blogger, it is very easy to make money. I can make $100 in one day for a very simple job. And when I get paid, I shop online.

But I see too it that I would not spend everything all at once. I prefer not to have a credit card so that I cannot be a verified Paypal member. In this way, I cannot spend my earnings no matter how much I try.

GDigg or GooDigg? Or maybe DIGGOOGLE? There were reports from JackBook and Techcrunch that Google is negotiating a budget of $200 million to buy Digg. Again, the Digg value is $200 million.

JackBook said that he still does not even understand why Google would waste their $200 million just for an easy to replicate website like Digg. He can even help Google hire programmers to build the site for only $49 million. $151 is a lot of money to waste.

TechCrunch, who have heard from multiple resources that Google and Digg already signed a letter of intent. TechCrunch also wrote about this Google-Digg negotiation last March.

Digg then immediately reacted to TechCrunch’s post and explained their side.

Blog hopping is one way of getting a lot of exposure. I started blog hopping when I joined some contests. I sometimes end up as one of the top commentators and getting more exposure. I dropped by at Mr. Javo and found a very unique contest.

The contest was about unscrambling 10 letters which I can only read via RSS. Each new feed comes with a new letter until it is time to guess the word.

I began unscrambling it, not expecting of winning the contest. From the letters E, C, D, I, T, N, O, A, D and I, I came up with the word DEDICATION and immediately submitted my entry. (more…)

IZEA is a big family of a social media network. PayPerPost and SocialSpark are a family of IZEA. It helps bloggers get discovered by advertisers all over the world.

Bloggers are very familiar of PayPerPost. Some say PayPerPost is dangerous for blogs. It is dangerous in way that is not favorable with Google – it can drop blogs’ pagerank for good.

No matter what they say, I still love PayPerPost. I have enhanced my writing skills with PayPerPost. I have discovered new topics to write about and earned from it. My blog’s pagerank dropped but still I continued to write for PayPerPost. If I can help others promote their website, why not. I just make sure that my posts do not go beyond my blog’s niche. (more…)
