What is a meme? I am not quite sure but based on the Intiendes blog, I should meme about my journey in becoming an SEO goddess. I challenged myself to be an SEO goddess and as far as I have tracked the results, I am a SEO Goddess.

I have tracked Google SERPs everyday and I can say that the results were not fixed. They vary depending on the time you make a search and I was lucky that I topped it in one random search.

Of course, this challenge is for female bloggers only. If you are a male and you call yourself a SEO goddess would be weird… very weird.

Before anything else, I would like to congratulate the winners of the Busby SEO Contest and the Cebu SEO Contest. I participated in both contests but never made it because there were a lot of super SEO experts competing. At least, I tried. And even though I did not win, I can still consider myself a SEO expert.

12 days later, Pweng Bee is a SEO Goddess. I made a Google search about the SEO goddess challenge and found out that I should get results the day after I joined. I am too busy, so I forgot about it. I just keep on monitoring my ranking on Google, making a daily search on the keyword “seo goddess”. And now that I am a certified SEO goddess, I will try my luck on the Cebu SEO Contest.

What did I do to be a SEO Goddess?

The source said that I should check my ranking on Google, Yahoo and MSN. I only topped on Google. I was on the first page on Yahoo and second page on MSN. Not that bad though.

Anyway, what I did was… actually… having more blogs especially with good pageranks helped me a lot. I have blogs that have PR4, PR3 and PR2 which I think helped increasing my ranking on Google.

The Busby SEO Challenge will be ending soon and I was informed that there is a new contest. I just made one entry for the Busby SEO Challenge and decided not to continue…

So what is this new contest? They say it is the SEO Goddess contest. I made a Google search about it and all I saw was the SEO Goddess challenge, not the SEO Goddess contest. Which is which?

What is this SEO Goddess all about? SEO for search engine optimization and Goddess for a goddess – meaning this is a challenge for all females who are into seo to become the top ranking result on the search engines.

So, here I am challenging myself to be a SEO Goddess. I think I am already a SEO Goddess because this blog is the first rank on the Google search engine with the keyword “google dig issue”. That makes me a SEO Goddess, right? I am studying blogging and going deeper into it. At first, I just want to learn how to make money online but now, I am into this SEO thing.

“There has much fanfare made of link building as part of Search Engine Optimization. In fact, if you Google “website traffic” and “link building” you’ll find that there are only 12,700,000 results for “website traffic” (without the quotes) versus 42,900,000 results for “link building” (again, without the quotes). Judging by these numbers, you’d think that link building is more important. There are some folks who would likely tell you that is the case. I’m not one of them.

Links are valuable. The right links are most valuable. But not all links will provide your website with value. Even if you get a high PR site in your niche to link to you and give you a boost in search engine juice, if that link doesn’t deliver targeted traffic to your website then it doesn’t really matter. It’s just a link.

Traffic makes you money. The best a link can do is push you up a few notches in the search engine results and send you a few leads. It’s up to your website (more…)
