Two months have passed and there were only a few who participated on my Buzzing Out For Money Contest. I said before that there will be a weekly update but I failed to do so. I am so busy doing everything from walking my dog, feeding my guinea pig, studying computer science, blogging and making money online. Plus, there was a storm last week and I had no internet connection.

Now, the contest has some few additional rules and ways in increasing points. I have decided to change some rules too. I said before that winners will be drawn randomly through Random.org but I am going to change it. I have decided that the winner of $50 (personally donated) will be the one who has earned the most points. By December, I will add more money for that winner.

Hello fellow bloggers! Together with the Blessed Virgin Mary’s birthday, I am also celebrating my birthday this month. I want to celebrate my first month of being an independent contractor for a respected professional based in U.S. I want to celebrate this very special occasion with you through a very captivating contest. My first contest, The 10 x 10 Contest, was a failure maybe because the prizes were not so captivating.

Itching to know what this very captivating contest is all about? Well then, this captivating contest is almost the same as most blogging contests. Patience is a virtue and it really pays. Watch out because there will may be an update of more prizes every week or month (and maybe new rules and winners weekly or monthly).

My favorite office supply, of course, is a laptop. Why? So that I can blog whenever, wherever. So that I can write more. So that I can learn more. So that… I can make more money.

Contest, contest, contest. At first, I am only joining on a point system contest. This means that the winner who earns the highest number of points wins. And having more blogs really helps me in winning.

I already won on two contests. Yes, I won. Whew!

I have no interest in seo stuff so I never joined in an seo contest. What is this stuff all about? At least, with a point system contest, I can assure that I can win. If I do not win the top prize that is cash, I still win some advertising slots. My banner has scattered all over the blogosphere already.

But when I moved back at my hometown (this was mentioned on Crap World), some people were starting to blog and were on this seo contest craze. Why was that? What really is seo? I discovered that seo as in search engine optimization is a battle between blogs and keywords. Blogs battle for a specific keyword to be the top on Google SERPs. I have no idea that I already know how to seo. I was optimizing my brand names for my online reputation.

Each and every blogger is the best blogger in his or her own field of expertise. They can be an expert in link building, seo, etc. For me, I think I am the best blogger in my place. Why? Because I am the only one who knows how to make money online. If there are anyone else, just let me know. I know that as a blogger, I can catch bigger and better opportunities.

My first blogs were on Blogspot, they got disabled because I placed every advertising widget that I could find. I never knew anything about making money online at that time. I was just making my online portfolio. I tried looking for jobs at Bestjobs.ph but the offers were not that good.

That was when I tried blogging with Wordpress and from then on, my life has changed. I have been writing sponsored posts for various blog advertising websites. I got job offers from clients worldwide, however, I did not have a permanent workplace so I declined their offers.

And after a few months, I decided to have my own domain. This blog was my first and there will be more to come. I could now Google my brand names (Piyoz, PwengBee, Sheilla May Baes) and were happy with the results. I thought that I have managed in building a good online reputation based from what I have read on the book, Radically Transparent.
