…ME!!! I can’t believe I won! Am I dreaming or what?

I haven’t got the details on claiming my prize yet so I’ll tell when I got it.

First of all, I just joined this contest for fun. I did not expect to win like all the other contests I have joined so far. To my surprise, upon checking the result, I won. So, I immediately emailed Jackie.

There was no rule on the contest about the participants. You know, if its only valid for US or not. Joining the contest is very easy by making an entry. The more entries you have, the more chances of winning.

There was one part of how to make an entry that I forgot to do. It was to register at YourFunTravelBiz.com.

I was thinking that winning this contest and claiming the prize may be impossible by just looking at my location (Philippines). Anyway, Jackie told me this…

“Oh the vacation is for USA….

You know what, that is ok, I am still going to find you an alternative prize that I can send you, don’t worry I just need to think of some ideas….But you are STILL the WINNER! (regardless of what the Prize maybe) I am sorry again. But we will figure something out.

Thank you again for entering!“

I was confused, so I asked her…”Yes,that is why I told you where I came from. I don’t see any rules regarding the participants of the contest if its for US only or worldwide but I had a feeling that its just for US. Just let me know if you have figured something out. Oh, is the prize convertible to cash? Just asking… Thanks again.”

Then she said that…” Oh yes I was wondering if you wanted PayPal? I can send you $20 PayPal to your PayPal Address. “

Again, I am more confused, so I replied… “ A free 8-day vacation isn’t worth $20. I think it should be worth $50-$100 or may be more. I am confused. Can you explain a bit further? Thanks.“

And the explanation I got was…”Oh yes. Basically I get these incentive type certificates free to use for Promotion of my Businesses or my Blog. “I would be offering 2 adults with accommodations ina fully furnished condominium for seven (7) nights at your choice of worldwide resorts. Your cost to redeem this certificate is just a US $35.00 processing, postage and handling fee (paid with this certificate) to receive your reservation form to book your accommodations For the vacation you would still have to pay your own room taxes, transportation, food and entertainment even if you were able to use the vacation. This Certificate has no cash value.“

That is why I am Offering $20. Most of my prizes are valued at $20 (Movie Tickets,Jerky, Portable TV etc…)

This is based from my email. I was really really very confused. The contest is to win a free 8-day vacation but actually it is not. I do not know what’s the purpose of Jackie why she did this. Maybe to increase traffic and links? I don’t know… Maybe she should bemore specific with the title, the rules, etc.

I guess there is really no such thing as free stuff… At least, still got $20. Thanks! Here’s my proof that I already got the $20.
