Contest, contest, contest. At first, I am only joining on a point system contest. This means that the winner who earns the highest number of points wins. And having more blogs really helps me in winning.

I already won on two contests. Yes, I won. Whew!

I have no interest in seo stuff so I never joined in an seo contest. What is this stuff all about? At least, with a point system contest, I can assure that I can win. If I do not win the top prize that is cash, I still win some advertising slots. My banner has scattered all over the blogosphere already.

But when I moved back at my hometown (this was mentioned on Crap World), some people were starting to blog and were on this seo contest craze. Why was that? What really is seo? I discovered that seo as in search engine optimization is a battle between blogs and keywords. Blogs battle for a specific keyword to be the top on Google SERPs. I have no idea that I already know how to seo. I was optimizing my brand names for my online reputation.

So, I tried this seo goddess challenge. For a few days, my blog was on the first page of Google SERPs. I was happy about that. My efforts are worth it. I did not continue on the Busby SEO Contest because I have to compete with the best seo bloggers worldwide.

And then, here comes another buzz. This is not just a challenge but a contest. Mostly, seo contest is only hosted internationally. But now, seo contest is also hosted locally. This is the Cebu SEO Contest. Where is Cebu? Cebu is located here in the Philippines. Cebu is known in the history as to where Magellan killed Lapu-Lapu.

Now, to the contest, I hope I am not too late on this. The contest ends on September 2, at 6:00 pm PST. I only got a week to work on this. I think it is worth joining in this Cebu SEO Contest because of its prizes.

Who would ever thought of that, huh? I do not care if I win or not, I am just having fun. If I do, I will not just spend the cash for myself, instead, half of it will go my savings and half of it, maybe will go to charity or to my second contest. My first contest failed, maybe the prizes were not enough. I will be celebrating my birthday next month (age disclosed, ha!ha!) and I am planning to host another contest which I will make sure will be a success. You have to watch out for that.

I am really glad more and more people have the interest in blogging, especially in seo. With the Cebu SEO contest, blogging is a part of the participants lives, including mine. Why? Participants blog everyday just for the Cebu SEO Contest. The participants’ day cannot be complete if they will not blog for the Cebu SEO Contest.

They keep on blogging and blogging as long as the Cebu SEO Contest runs. The Cebu SEO Contest is already a widespread, like an outbreak, like a virus…

Bloggers keep blogging to optimize the keyword “Cebu SEO Contest” on their blogs. So that when a Google search is made on the keyword “Cebu SEO Contest”, their blogs will appear on the first page of Google SERPs.
